What Happens When You Run Out of eSIM Data?

Wondering what to expect if you use up all your data on your JetSIMGo eSIM? Once your plan’s data limit is reached, your eSIM will stop working. Unlike traditional SIMs, these eSIMs don’t support top-ups, so you’ll need to purchase a new plan. But don’t worry—we can help you confirm if you’re really out of data or if it’s just a connection hiccup.

How to Check if You’ve Used All Your Data

If you’re curious about your data usage with JetSIMGo, simply log into your JetSIMGo account through the app or website:

  • Log In to JetSIMGo: Open the app or go to the website and sign in.
  • Find Your eSIM: Tap on My eSIMs and select DATA DETAILS next to the eSIM you’re using.
    • For an unlimited plan, it shows how many days you’ve used.
    • For a limited plan, it displays how much data you have left.

Checking Data Usage on Your Device

You can also track your data directly from your device, which helps if you want to keep an eye on app-specific usage:

  • On iPhone: Open Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data to view total and app-specific usage.
  • On Android: Go to Settings > Network & Internet or Connections > Mobile Data Usage to view your total data and breakdown by app.

Troubleshooting If Your eSIM Isn’t Working

If your JetSIMGo account shows remaining data or days but your eSIM isn’t connecting, you may have a device connection issue. In that case, try refreshing your network settings or restarting your device to re-establish the connection.

With these tips, you’ll be prepared to check your data status and troubleshoot any connectivity issues easily!
